Torsion Springs

Torsion springs are a type of mechanical spring designed to provide torque or rotational force when twisted around their axis. Unlike other types of springs that operate in a linear fashion, torsion springs work by storing mechanical energy when twisted and then releasing that energy when the torque or twisting force is removed, returning the spring to its original position.
